Are you all excited for this weeks Wonder Woman? I certainly am. Please allow me to introduce you the beautiful, and talented Muzabula Kundwe! She’s copy writer by day, and a Zambia based blogger by night.
WCW: What is your educational background?
MK: I have a Degree in Mass Communication. I studied Journalism and Public Relations I am also qualified in Video production and editing.
WCW: What are you most proud of in your professional life?
MK:I would have to say getting a bi-line in a national newspaper and having your work plastered all over the country on billboards, newspapers, magazines, TVs etc made me pretty happy.
WCW: Has your blog changed your life?
MK:Definitely. It’s made me more expressive with my choices. I’m definitely more confident in front of the camera now as opposed to before, and I’ve met the loveliest people online. I love the online community. Plus it’s nice to have your own space for things that you actually love and want to share with others.
WCW: Tell us about the #IAMAZedBlogger Project.
MK: So you have to understand first that blogging as an actual tool for expression is fairly new to my country, and I feel giddy and giggly when I spot a fellow Zambian blogging regardless of what they blog about. I started the #IAmAZedBlogger (I am a Zambian Blogger) project for two reasons. The first is to give me a chance to meet bloggers from Zambia from different genres of the bloggerspehere. Secondly, to encourage people to blog, give them tips with different topics, and open up the opportunity for collaborations. So what I try to do is send out a challenge that means that at least they can blog once or twice a month.
WCW: Tell us about your favorite vacation or adventure.
MK:I love going to visit the Mosi Oa Tunya Falls in Livingstone, right here in Zambia. It is world’s largest sheet of falling water, aptly named “The Smoke That Thunders” because it looks like smokes coming from the Falls, it’s a real beauty. It’s nice to have something so beautiful and serene near me.
WCW: What’s the best advice you’ve ever received?
MK:My father always said I should stop underrating myself. I’m yet to heed his words but that’s probably the best thing because it means that someone saw something in me that I can’t see in myself yet. Potential is a very beautiful thing.
WCW: Everyone has bad habits, what’s yours?
MK:My worst habit is probably is staying on my phone when I shouldn’t. Like meetings, or when I should be sleeping. Technological hang ups are the worst.
As always thank you for reading, commenting, and liking!
