Today I met Cara, an author and master life coach who helps women create a Champagne Life that feels full and fabulous! She is dedicated to encouraging women to create a life that makes their happiness a priority ever day. Cara accomplishes this by working closely with burnt-out, bored women who know they are meant for more. Every day she empowers women to challenge their fears and create a lifestyle, and career that feels authentic. Her expertise has gained her a loyal following and numerous features in Glamour, Shape, Cosmopolitan, PopSugar, Marie Claire, MSN.com, The Daily Mail, and local broadcasting programs.Tamika, the owner of Standout Style Boutique was our gracious host. Jalpa of Samosa Pop, and Lindzi of The Trendy Sparrow were among the guests.
Cara paid her knowledge forward with a Q&A session. Several were curious about work-life balance and mentors, but I was particularly interested in the creative process behind the design of the book.
Cara said, “there is no balance, your business is your life. You will eventually learn to not check your phone for an hour at a time, but this is a grind and hustle all the time.”Cara revealed that her love for Chanel was the source of inspiration when she spoke with the designer and she fell in love with the first design draft. Thank you both for such a fun and informative event. I can’t wait to read Girl Code.
