The Big Apple

My Dress:Eshakti|Michaela’s Dress:Target

Wow…I outdid myself with this hotel! The Room Mate Grace has quickly become my new favorite place to stay. The decor is impeccable, the bedding plush, and the cherry on top is being served breakfast in a dinning room fit for a queen. With full bellies and back-up batteries in tow, we hopped on the 2 and headed to the Bronx.

This exhibit was a site for sore eyes! I never would’ve guessed I’d one day roam through a re-creation of Frida Kahlo’s studio. Her work tended to mix natural elements with, science and imagination. Her dreams of studying medicine came to a screeching halt when a tragic car accident left her disabled for life. On the bright side, this tragedy led her to create the pieces we still enjoy today. Unfortunately, photography wasn’t allowed when viewing her original works of art so click here and here if you’re interested viewing the pieces.

As always thank you for reading, commenting, and liking!
