Beauty Isn’t Skin Deep

We’ve all heard the saying “Beauty is only skin deep.” Despite what you’ve heard beauty begins from within. Which is why it’s so important to have a beauty routine, but don’t panic. Healthy skin is achievable in 5 easy steps.

Step 1

Skip the tap water and hydrate with spring water or coconut water.

Step 2

Develop a day time beauty routine. Look for products that are oil free and contain retinol & alpha hydroxyl acid. I mix all three creams and spread a light layer over my face before applying makeup each morning.

Step 3

Invest in high quality multivitamins to bridge the gap in your daily diet. I take 2 of these per day.

Develop a night time beauty routine. I spread a layer of this cream over my face and neck an hour before bed to ensure all of it doesn’t transfer into my pillow.

Step 5

Get your beauty rest. I learned the hard way that if I don’t get adequate sleep, none of my skin care products work. Which leads to stress and more breakouts; this is a bad cycle, don’t get trapped in it.

  1. Good tips!! The beauty rest is always the tough one for me…never enough time, lol!!

      It is a tough one, ive found that its more important to get quality sleep rather than quantity. So I use a sleep mask, keep it my fav temperature, and take any allergy or sinus meds if needed before bed instead of during the day.
