word of the week:fest

Good morning my fellow fashion enthusiast’s! I’ve missed you all.

So sorry the word of the week is a tad late.

DSCN1944This time of year the Great Lakes region is fest obsessed! There is Litfest, Riotfest, Pridefest, Mayfest, Windy City Wine Fest, Midsommarfest, Blues Fest, BBQ Fest, Craft Beer Fest, the ever so crazy…Lollapalooza and many more. Let’s face it, each time we survive the brutal negative degree winter months we want to let loose and have fun. No snow boots, ski pants or shovels for us. We’re breaking out the bbq grills, swimsuits and sunscreen! Most of all I am looking forward to Summerfest, Taste of Chicago, and Fashion Fest. The annual Milwaukee Summerfest hosts over 800 bands on 11 stages in the span of 11 days. I live in the real world so I’m only attending one of those days…Trombone Shorty here we come! In July, the taste will bring 5 continuous days of food & music {already purchased Erykah Badu tickets} and just when the summer comes close to an end I’ll attend the fashion fest.

So tell me, what are you looking forward to in your area this summer? I love to travel; we can take this show on the road!

Believe me, I know it’s tempting but we don’t have to stretch out the budget to have cute clothes this summer. Use the pink links above to add frugal fashion finds to your closet.

As always thank you for reading, commenting and liking!

WITH LOVE,

Of course, there will be a tell all. What area are in you now?

      1. I live in Denver now, but most recently Lincoln Park, before that Gold Coast, and before that River North… I guess I just kept moving North haha 🙂

Oh,ok. Those are all great neighborhoods. I recently did a shoot in Lincoln Park. I’ll be posting that soon. I’ve never been to Denver. How are you liking it there?

      3. Nice! I lived right by the zoo and had a great view of the lake – such a beautiful area! Denver is absolutely wonderful, incredibly low key, but with nature everywhere, it’s kind of like an adult playground!

  3. I love the windowpane top!!

Thanks doll! I really low that the background is tan instead of white. In person it gives it more of a vintage vibe.
