Date Night

Last night I was lucky enough to be exposed to western jazz fused with south indian music and dance. Saxophonist and composer, Rudresh Mahanthappa in conjunction with dance and music ensemble Ragamala joined forces to create an experience that is referred to as Song of the Jasmine. It was riveting, alluring, remarkable and most importantly it’s an original piece of jaw-dropping artwork.  The performance was a mix of barefooted clogging, yoga, modern dance and it was surprisingly sensual. Read more about the ensemble here.

This weather is freaking fantastic! Thanks for participating in the giveaway. I’ll check out your new necklace. Speaking of Chicago fashion bloggers uniting… A former Chicagoan, Mimi G style will be hosting a seminar this weekend in the Loop, I’m so psyched!

I had a wonderful time with my beautiful wife. The performance was amazing, the weather was grand, and we have a new favorite spot. Hopefully we can make it back to the museum soon to see the Clemens von Wedemeyer and Faheem Majeed exhibitions.
